Nordson BM5544x
Nordson BM5544 Drum Unloader, refurbished with Allen Bradley Micrologix PLC controls and Panelview C400 touchscreen HMI. Please Contact us for information on this complete upgrade. The upgrade includes all of the highest quality electrical components available for this type of equipment. The motor has been converted from DC to AC, and is powered by an Allen Bradley Powerflex 4 drive. We replaced the obsolete Nordson LCU with an Allen Bradley Micrologix 1200 PLC. The PLC is controlled by an easy to use and accessable touchscreen interface. The motor can be started and stopped by a parent machine or level control.

Nordson FM200x Foam Melt, PLC upgrade
This customer had been plagued with bad vista boards and was tired of replacing them. We refurbished their Nordson FM200 machine and got rid of all of the Nordson control boards and wiring. We also upgraded the machine to an Allen Bradley touch screen control with digital pressure readout. The cost to replace all of the new components is now less than the cost of replacing one of the many Nordson boards inside the FM200. We also used high quality connectors and put together a very easy to follow wiring diagram to help the customer troubleshoot any future issues.
Nordson 6000 Series 6120x PLC Upgrade
Nordson is no longer supporting their 6000 series melters. They would like for you to upgrade to a versablue 50 or 100, costing between $45,000 and $75,000 depending on options. We have a solution priced at half the cost that will keep your 6000's running for another 20 years. The 6000 series hydraulic components are still available from Nordson, still able to be refurbished, and are pretty much bulletproof, but the electronics are old and obsolete, it is time for them to be replaced. Our solution to this problems is to replace them with the highest quality components on the market. We use the same Omron relays that you will find in a new Nordson Versablue The old fuse banks are replaced with super high quality Altech breakers. The main disconnect is replaced with a new Bussmann lock out safe disconnect. The old 6000 series DC drives and motors are replaced with new Allen Bradley Powerflex 4 AC drives and motors. We also used the Allen Bradley C400 touch screen HMI to simplify operator interface. There is a built in key-to-line function based off of a 0-10vDC signal from your parent machine. All of the wiring is replaced with new and the hydraulic sections are refurbished to new condition. Your hoses and applicators will still plug right in to this direct replacement cabinet.
